Broken Down Cars & Stubborn Horses
I have just got back from riding a full hour and 20 minutes after I normally do. As you have probably gathered from the title, this is because the car broke down. I got in to go home and it just wouldn’t start! I had nothing to do, and neither did Mum. Eventually Dad arrived to kick-start it…
On the subject of riding, my horse, Polly, was being irritating. She kept not going around the edge properly, not doing fast walk, only slow walk or trot, and when my foot fell out of the stirrup when we were cantering, no matter how hard I pulled the reins for her to stop so I could put my foot back in it. She was like ‘ noooo I don’t want to stop! I like cantering! Let me canter!’. But, fortunately, I didn’t fall off.
