sorry i forgot to tell you guys before, but im going on an adventure holiday with school tommorow (monday) and im coming back on wednesday, so i wont be around for then. it sounds so fun, theres gonna be things like abseiling, rock climbing, and lots more!

As you know, Howrse is a horse breeding game that i am currantly hooked on. You can breed virtual horses, and when you have been playing for 20 days or more, you can make your own equestrian center (stables) and board your horses there for free. but until then, you have to pay a minimum 10e (equus) per night. Equus is the main ’money’ on howrse. you can buy passes with real money or with equus every 30 days, but only after you have been playing for 50 days or more. When you sign up, you create your first horse. if you choose a mare (female) then you can age her (looking after her before you age her, then again afterwards) and breed her to get more horses quicker. or you can just wait until you have been playing for 10 days or more and buy another one from the auctions. when you have at least 3 karma points and 2 horses, you can go to the private sales. unlike in the auctions, you can buy it as soon as you have decided that you want it, and you can reserve a horse for a certain person. you can also sell horses for passes.

Karma points are special points that you can earn. heres how:

• every 30 days’ membership
• every 10 passes bought (1st, 11th, 21st, 31st…)
• each time 5 people you have sponsored obtain their first karma point

and here’s the advantages of karma:

• you can earn passes every 5 points
• you can access the private sales once you have 3 points
• you can create affixes every 2 points
• you can create breeds every 3 points (but you can only have up to 3 breeds)
• if you have posivtive karma (0 or more) you can access the auctions

if you do something bad, you can get your karma docked. these are the things that you can get karma docked for:

• all prohibited messages on the forum, by private message or on your page
• put images or texts on your page likely to shock younger people (aka kids) 
• if you do not pay the vet on the day your mare gives birth
• win a sale in the auctions without having enough money in your reserve
• reserve an auction for a player (use the private sales for this)
• selling a horse for more than 10 passes (even though its impossible)
• cheat in any way whatsoever on the game
• if you try to corrupt the sponsorship system with false accounts
• trying to steal other players accounts

 

there are lots of different breeds (and species) on howrse. these are the breeds:

• Appaloosa
• Arabian Horse
• Canadian Horse
• Hanoverian
• Irish Hunter
• Paint Horse
• Purebred Spanish Horse
• Quarter Horse
• Standardbred
• Thoroughbred
• Australian Pony
• Chincoteague Pony
• Connemara
• Newfoundland pony
• Welsh

and these are the species:

• Horses
• Ponies
• Pegasuses
• Unicorns

You also have you own email on howrse (private mail) that you can send and receive messages from other players.
